My Dreamy Utah Countryside Photoshoot (and why the cows were out to get me hahah)

You guys, I just had the most magical photoshoot out in the Utah countryside, and it was everything I dreamed of and more. But also, why were the cows so obsessed with me? hahah I'm still laughing (and a little traumatized) about it all. I swear I tried on every single dress in my closet, then went shopping, then ordered online, and then some more. Now, for the location! Utah, you guys. It's just stunning. We have so many incredible spots, and sometimes you don't even have to go far to find pure magic. For this shoot, we wanted something that felt open, natural, and just *breathtaking*. We drove around for a bit, just exploring, and then we stumbled upon this field. It had these rolling hills, tall grasses swaying, and the most beautiful light. It was late afternoon, that golden hour glow, and everything just looked so warm and inviting. It felt like a little slice of heaven, honestly. I love that we get to live in a place where you can just drive a few minutes and be surrounded by such natural beauty. It's grounding, you know? Like, all the craziness of life just melts away when you're standing in a field with the sun setting behind the mountains. Okay, now for the main event, the part that's gonna keep me up at night hahah. THE COWS. I swear, they were out to get me! Or maybe they just wanted to be in the photos? Either way, it was hilarious and a little bit terrifying. We're out there, getting these beautiful shots, and then I notice them. A few cows, just chilling in the distance. No biggie, right? Wrong. They started slowly, almost stealthily, making their way closer. And closer. And CLOSER. I'm trying to look all serene and dreamy, and in my head, I'm like, 'Please don't notice me, please don't notice me.' But they did. Oh, they did. They started following me, like I was some kind of cow whisperer or had a giant bag of treats on me. I'd move, they'd move. I'd turn, they'd turn. It was like a scene from a movie, but instead of a romantic lead, I was being stalked by a herd of curious (and large!) bovines. Tanner was just laughing, of course. He's always my hype man, but also my laugh-at-my-misfortune man hahah. He was trying to shoo them away, but they were determined. At one point, I genuinely thought they were going to come right up to me and sniff my dress. I'm pretty sure I let out a few squeals that were definitely not 'dreamy photoshoot' appropriate. It was so unexpected and just added this wild, unscripted element to the whole thing. We got some amazing shots, but also some hysterical ones of me trying to subtly back away from a cow. I h8 that about myself hahah, but it's just so real. It's moments like these that you'll remember forever, the ones that didn't go exactly as planned but ended up being the funniest stories. Ngl, I'm still wondering what their deal was. Maybe they just wanted to be famous? hahah. Either way, they definitely made the shoot unforgettable.

Behind the Scenes: My Amazing Support System

And honestly, I couldn't do any of it without my amazing support system. Tanner, of course, is always there. He's not just my husband, he's my biggest cheerleader, my assistant, my comic relief, and sometimes, my cow shoo-er hahah. He's the one holding my bags, making me laugh when I'm feeling awkward, and just generally making sure everything runs smoothly. And even though the girls weren't directly in these photos, they're always my 'why.' Every time I'm creating content, I think about them and the life we're building. They're my inspiration for everything. I'm so lucky to have such a loving and supportive family.
