Why Steamboat Is Perfect for Families
we had a full day 1 at Steamboat! I love this town! it's one of those places that just feels like a big warm hug. the girls loved it, Tanner loved it, and I'm already planning our next trip back hahah.
What We Did
the thing about Steamboat is there's so much to do with kids. we did the hot springs which was amazing — the girls thought it was the coolest thing ever to swim outside when it was cold. we also explored the town, did some hiking (well, Tanner hiked and I walked slowly with Cherry in the carrier hahah), and found the cutest little shops.
Where to Eat
we found some really good food! the key with eating out with three kids is finding places that are kid-friendly but also have good food for the adults. Steamboat has a lot of options and everyone was so nice and accommodating with the girls.
Tips for Traveling With Little Kids
we're a little tired and a little jet lagged but we're excited! 🤪 my biggest tip is to lower your expectations and raise your snack game. bring ALL the snacks. also build in downtime — we always plan a quiet afternoon at the hotel so the girls can rest and we can recharge too.
straight up found the girls outside like this hahah they are truly living the dream. family vacations with little kids are chaotic and exhausting and also the best memories you'll ever make ❤️
