Finding Myself Again
okay this is something I'm really passionate about sharing because after three babies I've finally figured out what actually helps me feel like myself again. and spoiler alert — it's not a 10-step skincare routine or a 5am workout. it's way simpler than that.
The Non-Negotiables
water. like actually drinking water. I know that sounds so basic but when you're breastfeeding and chasing three kids around you forget to drink water and then wonder why you feel terrible hahah. I keep a huge water bottle with me at all times and it genuinely makes the biggest difference.
Movement That Feels Good
I'm not talking about intense workouts. I'm talking about walks with the girls in the stroller, stretching while Cherry naps, dancing in the kitchen while making dinner. movement that doesn't feel like punishment. I think the biggest thing I've learned is I'm a freezer and I hate that about myself hahah so I try to keep moving throughout the day.
The Small Things
a little sunshine and salt water is just what the doctor ordered 💗 whenever I can get outside — even for 10 minutes — it resets my whole mood. I also love my L'Occitane almond hair and body mist because smelling good just makes me happy. it's the little things :,)
Giving Yourself Grace
the most important part of my wellness routine is honestly just being kind to myself. some days I crush it and some days I barely survive and both are okay. your body just did an incredible thing. be gentle with it. be gentle with yourself. you're doing so much better than you think ❤️
