Welcome to Our World, Friends!

Okay, so you guys are always asking me about our day-to-day, and honestly, it's a beautiful chaos I wouldn't trade for anything. It's not always perfect, ngl, but it's our perfect, and I love sharing all the realness with you. I mean, you're basically my besties, so come hang out with me and the girls! I get so many DMs asking 'how do you do it all?' and 'what's a typical day like?' and tbh, there's no such thing as 'typical' with three little ones, hahah. But I can totally give you a peek into what our life looks like most days, the good, the messy, and everything in between. It's a lot of love, a lot of laughter, and a whole lot of chasing tiny humans around, but my heart is so full I could just burst :,).

I remember when it was just Tanner and me, and then Stella came along, and then Ozzy, and now sweet baby Cherry. Each stage has brought its own set of challenges and joys, and I've learned so much about myself and about motherhood. My mom raised me as a single mom, and I literally don't know how she did it. She's my hero, and I think about her strength all the time when I'm feeling overwhelmed. She taught me that love is the most important thing, and that's what I try to pour into my girls every single day.

Mornings: The Sweet & The Wild

Our mornings usually start pretty early, bc, well, kids hahah. Stella is usually the first one up, and she's got this sweet little voice that just melts my heart when she asks for 'mama snuggles.' Ozzy is usually right behind her, ready to tackle the day with full energy. And then Cherry, our littlest love, she's still on her own schedule, which means sometimes she's up with the sun, and sometimes she gives us a little extra sleep, which is like winning the lottery, fr. Tanner is usually already up, getting ready for work, and he's seriously the best hype man. He makes coffee for us both and always makes sure I have a good start to the day. I couldn't imagine doing this without him.

Breakfast is usually a mix of whatever we have on hand. Sometimes it's pancakes, sometimes it's cereal, sometimes it's just fruit and yogurt. I try not to stress too much about it being perfect, as long as everyone gets something in their tummies. We've been loving these organic oat bites lately, they're so easy and the girls actually eat them! We straight up eat these everyday we love them over here!! After breakfast, it's usually a mad dash to get everyone dressed and ready. I try to let the girls pick out their own outfits sometimes, which leads to some hilarious combinations, but hey, self-expression, right? I'm still working on getting them to brush their teeth without a full-blown wrestling match, but we're getting there, one day at a time.

Mid-Day Adventures & Playtime

Once the morning rush settles down a bit, we usually try to get out of the house. I feel like getting some fresh air and letting the girls burn off some energy is so important. We love going to the park, or sometimes just a walk around our neighborhood. Utah has some of the most beautiful scenery, and I love that we get to experience it as a family. Stella is really into exploring right now, and Ozzy is a little adventurer, always finding something new to climb or discover. Cherry usually just chills in her stroller, taking it all in, or sometimes she'll nap, which is a little slice of heaven for mama, ngl.

When we're home, it's all about playtime. We have a playroom that's usually a disaster zone, but it's a happy disaster zone, full of toys and books and all the things that spark their imaginations. I love watching them play together, even when it devolves into a little sisterly squabble. It's all part of growing up, right? I try to get down on the floor with them as much as I can, building block towers or having tea parties with their stuffed animals. Those are the moments I know I'll look back on and cherish forever. I mean, they grow up so fast, it's freakin me out sometimes :,).

Lunch & Naptime (If We're Lucky!)

Lunch is usually a casual affair. Leftovers, sandwiches, or sometimes I'll whip up something quick like quesadillas. Again, not stressing about perfection, just trying to get good food into their little bodies. We've been using these silicone plates for a while now, and they're seriously a lifesaver for minimizing mess. I h8 that about myself hahah, but I'm a stickler for keeping things somewhat tidy, which is a constant battle with three kids.

After lunch, it's naptime for Cherry, and sometimes for Ozzy if she's had a particularly wild morning. Stella is usually past her napping days, so that's when we'll do some quiet activities, like reading books or doing puzzles. This is also my chance to catch up on a few things, whether it's answering emails, doing a quick tidy-up, or sometimes, just sitting in silence for five minutes. That five minutes of quiet? Pure gold. It helps me reset and be a better, more patient mama for the rest of the day.

Afternoons & Family Time

The afternoons are usually a mix of more play, maybe some errands if needed, and then getting ready for Tanner to come home. The girls get so excited when they hear his car pull into the driveway. He's their favorite playmate, and it's so sweet to watch them all pile on him the second he walks through the door. He's such a hands-on dad, and I love that our girls get to see that kind of love and partnership every day.

Dinner is usually a family affair, and we try to sit down together at the table as much as possible. It's not always easy with little ones, but I think it's important to have that time to connect and talk about our day. We've been trying out some new recipes lately, and the girls are surprisingly good at trying new things, most of the time! We found this amazing family cookbook that has super easy and kid-friendly meals, it's been a game-changer for dinner ideas.

Bedtime Routines & Winding Down

Bedtime is probably the most sacred part of our day. It's when we slow down, snuggle up, and just enjoy each other's company. We have a pretty consistent routine: bath time, pajamas, brushing teeth, and then stories. Each girl gets to pick a book, and sometimes we'll read a few. I love hearing their little voices chime in as I read, or seeing their eyes light up at their favorite parts. Then it's prayers, lots of hugs and kisses, and tucking them into bed. It's a sweet, quiet time that makes all the chaos of the day melt away.

After the girls are asleep, Tanner and I usually have some time to ourselves. We'll watch a show, talk about our day, or sometimes just sit in comfortable silence. It's important for us to connect and recharge as a couple. We're a team, and I'm so grateful for him every single day. I mean, he puts up with my freakin indecisiveness and my constant need to redecorate, hahah. He's the best.

Embracing the Journey

So yeah, that's a little peek into our life. It's not always glamorous, and there are definitely days when I feel like I'm running on fumes, but it's full of so much love and joy. My girls are my whole world, and every messy, chaotic, beautiful moment with them is a gift. I hope this gives you a little insight into what our days look like and maybe even makes you feel a little less alone in your own journey. Remember, there's no perfect way to do this mom thing, just your way. And that's more than enough. Sending you all the love, friends! XOXO
