My Big Baby & Tiny Baby: The Sweetest Sister Moments I Never Knew I Needed

You guys. You know I'm always talking about my girls, right? Stella, Ozzy, and our sweet little Cherry. They are my whole world, my everything. And honestly, watching them together? It's like a constant stream of little heart explosions in my chest. I just can't even sometimes. Especially now that Cherry is getting bigger and interacting more, seeing her with her big sisters just hits different.

I remember when I was pregnant with Cherry, I had all these thoughts and feelings. Like, how would Stella and Ozzy react? Would they be jealous? Would they love her as much as I already did? Tbh, I was a little nervous, which I think is totally normal for any mom adding another little one to the mix. You want everyone to feel loved and included, and you just pray that everyone gets along. But seeing them now, it's like all those worries just melted away. They're just so good with her, so gentle, and so full of love. It's truly a dream come true, and I couldn't imagine it any other way.

The Magic of Big Sisters

There's just something so incredibly special about a big sister, isn't there? Stella and Ozzy have taken to their roles as big sisters like total pros. They want to hold her, they want to make her laugh, they want to show her all their toys. And Cherry? She absolutely adores them. Her eyes light up when they walk into the room, and she just stares at them like they're the most fascinating creatures on the planet. It's the sweetest thing to witness, and it makes my heart so full. I love watching them teach her things, even simple stuff like how to grab a toy or make a silly sound. It's like they're already building this incredible foundation of friendship and support that I know will last a lifetime.

I think back to my own childhood, and while I didn't have sisters, I saw the bonds my friends had with theirs. And I always thought, 'man, that's so cool.' So to see my girls experiencing that now, it's just really special. It's not always perfect, of course. Sometimes there are squabbles over who gets to hold Cherry next, or who gets to make her smile. But even those moments are cute, bc it just shows how much they love her and want to be a part of her world. It's all part of the journey, right? The good, the messy, the loud, the quiet. All of it.

Those Little Details That Melt Your Heart

Okay, so you guys know the picture I'm talking about, right? The one with my big baby and my tiny baby, and they both have that same little hand position? Ugh. My heart. It just absolutely melts me. It's those tiny, unplanned, totally organic moments that just get me every single time. It's not something I asked them to do, or something I set up. It just happened, and I was lucky enough to capture it. And it's a reminder that even in the chaos of everyday life with three little ones, there are these beautiful, fleeting moments of connection and pure love that you just have to soak in.

I feel like sometimes as moms, we get so caught up in the big milestones, which are amazing, don't get me wrong! But it's these little, everyday details that truly make up the fabric of our family life. The way Stella gently strokes Cherry's head, or how Ozzy makes the funniest faces just to get a giggle out of her. Or that matching hand position, like they're already in sync, already connected in this deep, unspoken way. Those are the things I want to remember forever. Those are the things that make me stop and think, 'wow, I'm so lucky.'

My Hype Man Tanner & Our Little Family

And of course, I have to give a shoutout to Tanner, my amazing husband and the best girl dad there is. He's my rock, my partner in crime, and my ultimate hype man. He loves watching the girls together just as much as I do. He's always there, ready to jump in, play with them, and just be present. We talk all the time about how lucky we are to have these three incredible girls, and how much joy they bring into our lives. It's not always easy, motherhood and parenthood, but having him by my side makes every single day an adventure I want to be on.

Our home is definitely a little louder, a little messier, and a whole lot more full of love with Stella, Ozzy, and Cherry running (or crawling!) around. And I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. This is what I always dreamed of, tbh. A big, happy, chaotic family. And seeing these sister bonds forming right before my eyes? It's just the icing on the cake. It makes me feel so incredibly grateful and blessed.
